Faith and Freedom hosted by Michael Novak and Michael Cromartie. Each episode of Faith and Freedom focuses on an aspect of religion in American public life. Host Michael Cromartie and Michael Novak moderate a roundtable discussion in which diverse viewpoints are represented. Panelists include prominent figures from religious circles, including journalists who cover religion, scholars of religion, and officials of major denominations.
Dr. Michael Novak is the recipient of the 1994 Templeton Prize in Religion. Michael Novak is a theologian, author, and former U.S. ambassador who currently serves as Director of Social and Political Studies at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C. Novak has written numerous books in the philosophy and theology of culture and has had weekly columns in National Review and Forbes Magazine.
Michael Cromartie is the Director of the Evangelical Studies Project at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, D.C., a think tank whose mission is to reinforce the bond between the Judeo-Christian moral tradition and domestic and foreign policy issues. Cromartie serves as an Advisory Editor to Christianity Today magazine and has edited numerous books including Piety and Politics: Evangelicals and Fundamentalists Confront the World. Cromartie has been quoted on issues relating to religion and politics in numerous publications including The Washington Post, The New York Times and U.S. News and World Report.
